2025 was a year full of innovation, international networking, and exciting projects in tunnel and infrastructure construction for Dibit Measuring Technique. One focus was on responsible AI, particularly in the FAIR-AI project, where we worked with Joanneum Research to develop AI-supported solutions for tunnel monitoring. At the mid-term event in Vienna, we presented our results and discussed transparent and fair AI applications with experts from research, ethics, and administration.
We also had a strong international presence: We presented our 3D scanning systems, digital surveying solutions, and robotics applications at trade fairs and conferences such as the World Tunnel Congress in Stockholm, RETC in Dallas, ATC in Perth, and STUVA Expo in Hamburg. The numerous discussions and live demonstrations provided valuable impetus for future projects.
Research and the promotion of young talent were also in focus: As part of the FFG project TUNSPEKT, we developed innovative sensor technology and robotics for tunnel inspections, while our apprentices advanced their professional and personal development through practical training, workshops, and mentoring.
We look back with gratitude on an intense and successful 2025 and look forward to the challenges and projects in 2026.
